Recently, traditional methods of borrowing, such as receiving loans from investment banks, have become increasingly difficult to obtain. Stepping into the ever enlarging vacuum are alternative sources of loans, such as hedge funds from investment firms. One of those alternative investment firms is the NIR Group headquartered in Roslyn, NY. For the past 10 years the NIR Group has been lending directly to small and medium sized companies and oversees $7 billion in investments.
